Allergies – everybody knows them, nobody wants them. The symptoms may cause a decrease in quality of life.
An allergy is an acquired hypersensitivity reaction of the body to certain substances (allergens). Different factors can influence the immune system and stimulate the body's own specific defense to react hypertensive to normally harmless substances, e.g. pollen or animal hair. Typically consequences of an excessive immune reaction are for example redness of skin, swelling, itching, watery eyes, runny nose or shortness of breath.
There are different kinds of allergies, but the most common is the immediate type (type 1 allergy). About 90 % of all allergies belong to this type. Type 1 allergic reactions immediately occur after contact with the allergen. Examples for immediate types are hay fever, asthma and urticaria.
To avoid allergic reactions you should take preventive measures early enough. Not treated, progressive forms of may aggravate the symptoms over the years.
The symptoms of type 1 allergies can reliably be treated with medication like antihistamines or corticoids. But due to the side effects a lot of patients reject this kind of medical treatment. Dr. Loges therefore provides allergoLoges® - a homeopathic combination of active substances – which is well tolerated and suitable for the treatment of all typical allergy symptoms.
